November 23, 2012 - Iowa City, IA. The Huskers look to finish the regular season with 10 wins and a Legends Division crown on a cold, blustery day. The Huskers stumble early with turnovers and go into the locker room in a 7-3 hole. After missing several weeks due to a knee injury Rex Burkhead enters the game in the second half and carries the Huskers to victory with 69 rushing yards and NU's only touchdown of the afternoon. Kicker Brett Maher also hits two critical field goals including a 52-yarder in the 3rd quarter to pull within one point. The Blackshirts turn in a solid performance behind seniors Eric Martin and Alonzo Whaley. Whaley interecepts James Vandenburg with under 3 minutes to play to seal the win and a trip to Indianapolis for the Huskers with a final score of 13-7. Includes video footage of entire game as filmed by Husker Vision. Husker radio play-by-play for audio. DVD video. 90 minutes.
