Coach Pelini won about 75% of his games at NU, played for 3 conference championships, earned the love and devotion of his players, and led NU through the extremely challenging exit from the Big XII and entrance into the Big Ten, neither conference wanting to see the Huskers have any success during that transition. The challenge and struggles took their toll, but history will reflect kindly on the accomplishments of coach Pelini and his staff while at NU.
